It's the official start of summer next week and already the garden is shaping up nicely even in it's early stages. This year, I've attempted planting lavatera from seed in pots with some already blooming pansies. So far, it's looking like they may actually be a success!
The mandarin honeysuckle has had a real growth spurt and the climbing rose is making a great comeback after being compromised by disease. I'm looking forward to seeing the garden bursting with color by August!
