My mom, and a couple of aunts and uncles, along with
Chef Judy Wood and some other dear friends, have just returned from a cooking class/excursion in Tuscany, Italy. The weather was fantastic and it wasn't really looking like autumn there at all! They had the opportunity to tour the vineyard on the property where the movie 'Letters to Juliet' was filmed. The owners actually put them up for the night in the guest house and prepared them a gorgeous dinner. Dinner was set in the ancient church on the property converted into a dining space filled with chandeliers and candles!! In fact, when the hosts opened the doors to the church to lead them in for dinner - they all started crying! The scene was so overwhelmingly beautiful..... Some images from their Tuscan retreat......
