They have always been a favorite of mine. Sometimes I see them as more of an accessory than a flower. We often see hydrangeas used in decorating - their substantial snowballs of blossom fill a space well and don't add too much fuss and frill.
My white hydrangea exploded this
year and has taken over the back corner of our garden. It's grown another foot or so since the photo above was taken. My pink hydrangea (not
shown) is slowly turning to its full color and will be a perfect shade
of medium pink by summer's end...
